Jeanette E. (Siemik) Snow

Jeanette E. Snow, age 86, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, peacefully at her residence in Huntington.

Jeanette was born on August 28, 1936, in Huntington, IN, to the late Joseph and Lena (Szewcryk) Siemik. Jeanette married Henry “Hank” J. Snow on August 31, 1957, and he survives and resides in Huntington.

Jeanette was a 1954 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School. She had worked at Our Sunday Visitor when she was younger, was a homemaker raising her children, and cleaned at the Lafontaine Center part-time.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Sodality, Women of the Moose and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Along with her husband, Hank; she is survived by one son, Brian Snow, Huntington, IN; one brother, Jim Siemik, Adrian, MI; one sister, Virginia Yount, Warren, IN; four grandchildren, Danielle (Doug) Nieman, Jeremy (Ashley) Snow, Andrea (William) Dalessandro, Eric Denney; and 7 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Robin Jackson, Julie Denney; and five siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart/Deal Rice Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Fr. Thomas Zehr officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
