Jason D. Cozad

Jason D. Cozad, 44, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at his residence.

Jason was born in Huntington, IN, on May 20, 1977, to Terrance and Rebecca (Harness) Cozad.  His father preceded him in death. His mother survives and resides in Huntington.                  

Jason attended Huntington North High School and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Huntington.

 Along with his mother he is survived by two sons, Jordan Cozad, Huntington, IN, Austin (Virginia) Cozad, MI; one daughter, Americus Cozad, Huntington, IN; one brother, Chris Cozad, Huntington, IN; and one granddaughter, Zayannah Cozad.

Along with his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Cozad.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm, at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, Indiana, with Pastor Tim Lorenz officiating.

A private burial will be at a later date.
