James L. Kahn, age 65, of Roanoke, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne, IN. James was born on May 25, 1958, in Fort Wayne, IN, to William and Norma (Waggoner) Kahn. They survive and live in Roanoke.
James married Donna M. Deeter September 4, 1976. She preceded him in death July 4, 2010.
He was a 1976 graduate of Huntington North High School. He worked at Dana in Fort Wayne as Group Leader for 47 years.
James is survived by 1 daughter Christina (John) Ellis of Bluffton, IN. 2 sons Jason (Jill) Kahn Roanoke, IN and Michael Kahn Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren; Hannah Kahn, Kaitlyn Ellis, Brooke Ellis, Braylon Kahn and Mason Ellis; 2 Great Grandchildren Matthias and Calliope Aguilera. 1 Brother Randy (Judy) Kahn Waynedale, IN and 2 sisters Deb Kahn Roanoke, IN and Pam (Don ”Tiny”) Wright of Roanoke, IN.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. all at McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, IN, 46783.
A Graveside Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke, IN.
