James Nelson Buzzard

James Nelson Buzzard, age 72, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the Heritage Pointe of Huntington.  

James was born on April 14, 1952, in Huntington, IN, to the late Chester R. and Marjorie (Hayes) Buzzard.

James was a 1970 graduate of Huntington North High School and worked at Our Sunday Visitor for many years as a pressman.  In his retirement he worked at Johnson’s Junction.   He enjoyed going to the YMCA in the early morning and talking to the other patrons there.  Jim enjoyed working hard and was definitely a workaholic.

Jim is survived by one son, Benjamin Buzzard, Fairfax, VA; one daughter, Amy Buzzard, Chattanooga, TN; his former spouse, Nancy; one grandchild, Madison Karst; and one great-grandchild, Spencer Buckler.

To honor the wishes of Jim, there will be no services.  

A private interment will be held at a later date at Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN.
