James Andrew Bauer

Jim Bauer, 46, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence.
Jim was born on May 25, 1975, in Huntington, IN, to John L. and Carol (Williams) Bauer. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Huntington. Jim married Amanda Pryor on August 19, 2005, and she survives.
 
Jim was a 1993 graduate of Huntington North High School.   He attended Life Church in Huntington.  He was a stay at home dad and was so proud of all his children and loved spending time with them.  He also enjoyed music and being with his friends.   He was a loving father and his kids, family and friends were so important to him.
    
Along with his mom and wife, Amanda, he is survived by his three children, Sullivan James Bauer, Syler Lucien Bauer, Harper Lucille Bauer, all at home.   He is also survived by three brothers, Jay Bauer, Fort Wayne, IN, Jerry (Jill) Bauer, Huntington, Justin (Jennifer) Bauer, Fort Wayne; and one sister, Kimberly (Wade) Stuckey, Fort Wayne, IN.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750. 

A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Huntington or Love, INC., in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
