James W. Ambrose, Jr.

James W. Ambrose, Jr., age 90, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at McGivney Health Care Center, Carmel, IN.

James was born on June 13, 1935, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late James W. and Christine (Pyton) Ambrose, Sr.  James married Kay Ellis Hill in October 1962, and she preceded him in death on January 22, 2021. They had enjoyed 58 years of marriage.

James was a farm implement salesman and owned A & H Implement.

James is survived by two sons, Patrick Ambrose, Huntington, IN, Michael (Cammy) Fox, Churubusco, IN; one daughter, Tracie Wise, Lafayette, IN; one stepson, Duane (Jissa) Peck, Hemet, CA, and 8 grandchildren.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Jim Fox.                                       

To honor the wishes of James there will be no calling or services.

A private burial will be at a later date.
