Jacob S. Satterthwaite

Jacob S. Satterthwaite, age 37, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his home.   He was born on October 11, 1985, in Scott Air Force Base, IL, to Scott (Janna) Satterthwaite, Huntington, IN, and Dawn (William) Herrmann Allen, Kalamazoo, MI. 

Jacob was a graduate of Huntington North High School and was a skilled graphic artist.  He enjoyed doing reenactments for Mississinewa 1812, he was an avid model builder, especially of WWII planes, and was a talented and creative artist.

Along with his parents he is survived by one son, Bennett Satterthwaite; one daughter, Evelynn Satterthwaite; step-daughter, Ava Mauger, all of Huntington, IN; one brother, Cameron Satterthwaite, Urich, MO; sisters, Jessica (Loren) Carroll, Markle, IN, Courtney (Mitchell) Harmon, Urich, MO, Kayla Satterthwaite, Urich, MO, Teresa Satterthwaite, Fort Wayne, IN, Hailey Satterthwaite, Huntington, IN; step-brothers, Andy (Shelly) Kepner, Urich, MO, and Jeff Schmoll, AK.  Jacob is also survived by his grandmother, Jackie (Sam) Preston, Huntington, IN; and grandfather, Daniel Herrmann, Cibolo, TX.

Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles (Sara) Satterthwaite; grandmother, Janice Herrmann; and Aunt Cindy Herrmann.

To honor the wishes of the family there will be no services.

A private burial will be at a later date.
