Henry "Hank" J. Snow

Henry “Hank” J. Snow, age 87, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Wellbrooke of Wabash.

Hank was born on July 25, 1936, in Rome, NY, to the late George and Robina (Young) Snow. Hank  married Jeanette E. Siemik on August 31, 1957, and she preceded him in death on March 13, 2023.

Hank was a 1954 graduate of Rome Free Academy in Rome, NY. He served in the United States Marines from 1955-1959.  He was a master pipe fitter and belonged to the Fort Wayne Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 166, Huntington Moose Lodge #837, American Legion Post #85, and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntington.

Hank is survived by one son, Brian Snow, Huntington, IN; six grandchildren, Danielle (Doug) Nieman, Jeremy (Ashley) Snow, Andrea (William) Dalessandro, Eric Denney, Leslie (Matt) McDougall, Josh (Sarah) Snow; and 14 great grandchildren, Austin, Kayden, Brianna, Wyatt, Ayden, Ethan, Eli, Grant, Reagan, Alexander, Ashlynn, Jareck, Jeremiah and Jackson.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two daughters, Robin Jackson, Julie Denney; one brother, John Snow; one sister, Kathleen Farrier; and one great-grandson, Ryan Snow.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.

Additional Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Fr. Thomas Zehr officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
