Heather Daye Vonesh, age 52, of Roanoke, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on March 3, 1972, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Stan Magner and Sue (Williams) Chambers. Her father preceded her in death, her mother and stepfather Dave survives. She married Anthony L. “Tony” Vonesh on August 26, 2000, who survives in Roanoke.
Heather graduated in 1990 from Glenpool High School in Oklahoma. She was a Sales Executive for Superior Aluminum.
Heather had a sort of happiness that was contagious to all around her. Whether making new friends in the bleachers or throwing driver’s seat dance parties, she attacked each day with a smile on her face. She was a fierce competitor, and you’d often find her screaming for her Sooners or a foot from the screen as horses crossed the wire at the Kentucky Derby. She was the type of person that aimed to serve others, and with an unwavering dedication to taking care of her children. Touching the lives of many along the way, her passion for life will be missed dearly.
Along with her husband, Tony, and her mom and stepfather, Sue and Dave Chambers, Tulsa, OK, she is survived by two sons, Jake Reust, Justin Reust, both of Fort Wayne, IN; two daughters, Wynona Spencer, Fort Wayne, Savannah Vonesh, Huntington, IN; one granddaughter, Samarah James; two brothers, Cory Magner, Muskogee, OK, Dustin (Rebecca) Magner, Tampa, FL; and one sister, Amber (Tom) Wheeler, Mt. Dora, FL.
