Harold E. Warner, age 86, of Roanoke, IN, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at his residence.
Harold was born on February 3, 1939, in Huntington, IN, to the late Frank and Crystal (Beaty) Warner. He married Nancy Scott on August 19, 1961, and she survives in Roanoke.
Harold graduated from Huntington High School in 1957 and from Ivy Tech and Indiana Tech. He worked for General Electric as an Electronics Technician. Harold was a member of The Emmanuel Community Church in Fort Wayne. He loved Corvair’s and was in the Mad Anthony Corvair Club, and the CORSA Society of America.
Along with his wife, Nancy, he is survived by two sons, Jerry (Cathy) Warner, Fort Wayne, IN, Kent Warner, Roanoke, IN; one daughter, Rebecca Johnson, Fort Wayne, IN; two brothers, Don Warner, Huntington, IN; Dick (Sherry) Warner, Fort Wayne, IN; one sister, Karen (Ron) Eller, Kokomo, IN; and 6 grandchildren, Brock Warner, Brandi Warner, Blake Johnson, Aahron Johnson, Kaitlyn Warner and Ryan Warner.
Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Reeb.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at The Branch – Emmanuel Community Church, 7227 Bittersweet Moors Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
Additional calling hours will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at The Branch – Emmanuel Community Church, 7227 Bittersweet Moors Drive, Fort Wayne, IN, 46814 with Rev. Gary Dilley officiating.
A Graveside burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN.
