Gary Dean Prilaman

Gary Dean Prilaman, age 75, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Monday,  March 3, 2025, at Bethlehem Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne, IN.

Gary was born on December 15, 1949, in Huntington, IN, to the late Dean and Martha (Renz) Prilaman.  

Gary proudly served in the United States Marines and was a caregiver for many years.

Gary is survived by one son, Todd Prilaman; two daughters, Kendra Prilaman, Kylie Prilaman, all of Fort Wayne, IN; three brothers, Steve Prilaman, Huntington, IN, Roger (Kay) Buckner, Mt. Etna, IN, David Bevin, Huntington, IN; three sisters, Judy Hapner, North Manchester, IN, Mary (Dave) Latta, Fort Wayne, IN, Susan Bevin, Huntington, IN; five grandchildren Jordan, Ashley, Sean, Aailyah and Ayisha; ten great grandchildren Tessa, Tanner,  Addison, Oaklee, Jayden, Camilla, Carmello, Ciyah, Yannis and Zahir,  and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Bechtold, Andrea Mauger and Karen Sue Prilaman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at McElhaney Funeral Home-Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, IN 46783.

A Graveside burial with Military honors will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke, IN.
