F. Isabel Lundi

Flora Isabel Lundi, 92, of Newhope, AR, and formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Dierks Health & Rehab, Dierks, AR.           

Isabel was born on May 17, 1928, in Greenfield, IN, to Jacob and Ethel (Carrie) Loehr.  Her parents preceded her in death.  She married Jess Lundi on January 21, 1985.  He preceded her in death on February 23, 2009.  Her first marriage was to Bruce Morgan whom she had her 7 children with.

Mrs. Lundi was a 1946 graduate of Knights Town High School.  She was a waitress for 40 years at Penguin Point in Huntington and Florida and also at Don’s Truck Stop.   She was a member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Arkansas.

Isabel is survived by two sons, Dennis (Peggy) Morgan, Ross (Suzi) Morgan, both of Roanoke, IN; one daughter, Julie (Randal) Ware, Newhope, AR; 28 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four sons, David Morgan, Phillip Morgan, Curtis Morgan; McKenzie Morgan; and four siblings.

A Memorial Service will be Friday, August 14, 2020 with calling from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and a service following at 2:00 pm at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington, IN  46750. (Face coverings and social distancing will be observed).

A private family burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
