Elsie M. (Keplinger) Kiefer

Elsie M. Kiefer, 97, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.    

Mrs. Kiefer was born on May 5, 1925, in Huntington, IN, to John and Mary (Beard) Keplinger.  Her parents preceded her in death.   Mrs. Kiefer married Robert C. Kiefer on February 6, 1943.   He preceded her in death on June 8, 1978.

Mrs. Kiefer worked for over 30 years at Wabash Magnetics.   She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Huntington, IN. Elsie loved to go fishing with her husband and she always loved to cook.

 Elsie is survived by many nieces and nephews; and preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and five sisters.

To honor the wishes of Elsie there will be no visitation or Memorial Services.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to SCU (Supportive Care Unit) at Randallia’s State Tower in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN  46750.
