Edith M. (Yeiter) Wall-Morgan

Edith M. Wall-Morgan, 86, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Heritage Pointe, Warren, IN.                                              

Edith was born on November 28, 1934, in Bathgate, North Dakota, to Levi A. and Ethel M. (DeMaine) Yeiter.  Her parents preceded her in death.  Edith’s first marriage was to Richard C. Wall in 1954. He preceded her in death in 1976. Edith then married W. Wayne Morgan in 1984 and he preceded her in death in 2001.

Edith was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson Township.  She was a telephone operator, worked at Our Sunday Visitor and was the owner of Pizza King in Fairmount, IN, for 15 years.   She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Edith is survived by two sons, Ronald (Donna) Wall, Kimball, NE, Gordon R. Wall, Fairmount, IN; one daughter, Kay (Tom) Mitchell, Huntington, IN; one step-son, Duane R. (Debbie) Morgan, Indianapolis, IN; one brother, Ray Yeiter, Warren, IN; two sisters, Phyllis Eltzroth, Warren, IN, Ruth (Jack) Pugh, Albion, IN; 4 grandchildren, Scott Myers, Matthew Myers, Stephanie Davis, Justin Morgan; 5 great grandchildren, Kylie Myers, Andy Myers, Brooke Myers, Debra Myers and Addyson Davis.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard A. Wall, Donald M. Wall; and one brother, Bill Yeiter.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN, with Chaplain Joy Cash officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
