Donna Lee (France) Gass

Donna Lee (France) Gass, 77, of Huntington, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024.  She was born January 19, 1947, in Plymouth, Indiana to Don and Lucille France. Donna married John J Gass in June of 1968 and moved to Huntington, Indiana. 

She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1965.  She was a teacher at Huntington County Community Schools for over 25 years.  She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Huntington. 

She is survived by her husband, three children, Bryan (Lori) Gass, Kevin (Stacie) Gass, Sara (Mike) Minor, seven beautiful grandchildren, her sister Judy Easterling and brother, Don France. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, with Fr. Tony Steinacker presiding. 

A private burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Huntington Catholic School in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
