Donald Eugene Winkler

Donald Eugene Winkler, 61, of Andrews, IN, died Friday, August 27, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born October 18, 1959, in Huntington, IN, to Willis and Phyllis (Stoltz) Winkler. His parents preceded him in death. He married Rita Bolding on June 30, 1990. She survives him in Andrews. 

Donald had worked at Victory Noll and most recently at Sportsmobile, Inc., in Huntington.

Along with his wife, Rita, he is survived by one son, James (Erika) Winkler, Andrews, IN; three brothers, Bill (Ruth) Winkler, John (Renea) Winkler, Mike Winkler, all of Huntington; four sisters, Mary Meady, Peabody, MA, Sally Snodgrass, Columbia City, IN, Cathy (Mike) Anderson, Peabody, MA, Linda (Michael) Benson, Markle, IN; and three grandchildren, Dominic Winkler, Joey WInkler, and Olivia Winkler.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, with Fr. Tony Steinacker presiding.

Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
