Donald Charles Gibson

Donald Charles Gibson, age 75, of Butler, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Laurels of Dekalb Nursing Home.  

Donald was born on June 5, 1949, in Huntington, IN, to the late Charles and Thelma (Rowland) Gibson.

Donald served in the United States Army.  He was a tool & die maker and worked at Majestic in Huntington for many years.

Donald is survived by his son, Corey (DeaDea) Gibson, Huntington, IN; four grandchildren, Joey Gibson, Randy Gibson, Cortney Gibson, Rastis Gibson; 6 great-grandchildren; and his former wife and caregiver, Carolyn Gibson.

Donald was preceded in death by two brothers, Max Gibson, Stan Mooberry; and one sister, Kathleen Frances.

To honor the wishes of the family there will be no services.

Burial will be at a later date.
