Dianne K. (Zellinger) Hollinger

Dianne K. Hollinger, age 81, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Heritage Pointe of Huntington.  

Dianne was born on February 21, 1943, in Goshen, IN, to the late Eldon and Dorothy  J. (Christeon) Zellinger. Dianne married Richard E. Hollinger on August 16,1964 and he survives and resides in Huntington.

Dianne was a graduate of New Paris High School.  She worked for the United States Postal Service as a Rural Letter Carrier. She recently received her 60-year membership pin from the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association (NRLCA). She was a member of the Huntington Church of the Brethren. She was also a lifetime member of ESA. 

Along with her husband, she is survived by son, Robert (Julie) Hollinger, Huntington, IN; sister, Kathy Walker, Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Kayleen Carroll (Jacob), Brock Hollinger and Mason (Alivia) Hollinger. Great-grandchildren Lexie, Wesley, Connor, and Holden Carroll, and Eleanor (Ellie) Hollinger.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by son, Troy Hollinger; and brother, Michael Zellinger.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 p.m. followed by A Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m., all at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St, Huntington, IN, 46750.
