Delores "Dee" Jean (Hughes) Howell

Delores “Dee” Jean Howell, age 72, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.  

Delores was born on September 29. 1951, in Lexington, VA, to the late James Howard and Alice Rappe (Armstrong) Hughes.

Dee  was a 1969 graduate of Huntington North High School. She retired from the Post Office after many years and enjoyed playing golf and going out to eat and playing cards with her friends.

Dee is survived by two sons, Patrick “PJ” Yeater, Joshua Howell, both of Huntington, IN; one granddaughter, Travianna Hall; two sisters, Linda Morgan, Huntington, IN, Bonnie (Martin) Kelly, MI; and one nephew, Travis Fisher, Spain.

In keeping with Dee’s wishes, there will not be any services.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
