David G. Teusch

David G. Teusch, 80, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday July 27, 2021 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.

David was born on July 7, 1941, in Huntington, IN, to Russell and Lucy (Thomson)Teusch, Sr. His parents preceded him in death.  He married Rita Cox on April 27, 1968. She survives in Huntington.

 David was a 1959 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School.  He earned an associate degree in electronics from Devry University, Chicago, IL.  David had worked as a plant manager and supervisor at Wabash Technologies for 44 years.  David was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was an avid supporter of the home shopping network.

 Along with his wife, Rita, David is survived by three sons, David A. Teusch, Cummings, GA, Patrick C. Teusch, Huntington, IN and Neil A. Teusch, Warren, IN; and one daughter, Kristi (Shane) Jones, Huntington, IN; and twelve grandchildren, Destiny Brooke Kerns, Amber Kerns, Corbin Teusch, Milo Teusch, Cooper Teusch, Elaina Teusch, Preston Teusch, Sawyer Teusch, Tori Jones, Cody Jones, Maycie Jones and Eli Jones.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Richard Teusch, and Bernard Teusch and one sister Betty Beady.

 Calling hours will be on Monday, August 2, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.

 An additional hour of calling will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN  46750

  Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

 In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Masses or Donors Choice in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
