David M. Brock

David Michael Brock, 45, of Ossian, IN passed away 11:43 P.M. on Friday, June 25, 2021, at his parent’s residence.  
He was born on March 1, 1976, in Huntington IN to Dan and Deborah (Sellers) Brock.  

David graduated in 1995 from Huntington North High School.  He attended Vincennes University.  He was employed as a baker at Lewis Bakery, Ft. Wayne, IN.
David loved and appreciated his family.  His nieces and nephews were his whole world.  They adored each other and treasured time spent together playing sports, fishing, and camping.  He was very patient spending countless hours teaching them about astronomy, playing chess and other games. David enjoyed sharing his passion for cooking at family gatherings. He enjoyed participating in friendly competitions with his extended family, especially bowling, euchre, Fantasy Football, and loved watching movies on the big screen. David’s infectious laugh and mischievous grin often called “The Dave” brought joy to those who loved him.  Dave will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generosity, sincerity, and kind heart.  All who were blessed to have Dave in their lives love him always, he will be forever missed!

He is survived by his parents, Dan L. Brock and Deborah A, Brock, Huntington, IN; two brothers, Eric L. Brock, Ossian, IN and Jeffrey D. Brock, Huntington, IN; one sister, Michelle R. (Scott) Sunderman, Fortville, IN., and six nieces and nephews, Larson Brock, Nara Brock, Taven Brock, Aiden Brock, Emery Sunderman, and Adalyn Sunderman; grandmothers, Ruth Moon and Mary Sellers.  David was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Brock and John Sellers.

A private family service will be held at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington IN 46750.
