Darrell Thomas Johnson

Darrell Thomas Johnson, 67, of Marion, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.

 Darrell was born on March 23, 1954, in Pulaski, MO, to Jerry T. Johnson and Shirley Ann Fuller.  His parents preceded him in death.

 Darrell was a Security Officer at Allied Securities in Marion, IN.    He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He was a very proud Marine and enjoyed fishing, bowling and shooting sports.

 Darrell is survived by two daughters, Dawn Marie (David) Johnson Harvey, Huntington, IN, Dawn (Daniel) Donnells, Germantown, MD; one brother, Jeff (Pam) Wilson, Hagerstown, MD; one sister, Jill Foster, Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Kye Young, Huntington, IN, Sunny DiSalvo, Germantown MD, Danielle Donnells, Germantown, MD, Adalyn Harvey, Huntington, IN; and one great grandson, Kaden Gambrill, Germantown, MD.

 A Military Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Jones Cemetery, located on 850W off of 332/McGalliard, Yorktown, IN.

 A reception will follow the burial from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Yorktown Legion, 2110 S. Broadway Street, Yorktown, IN, 47396.

 In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
