Dana F. (Holmes) Williams

Dana F. Williams, age 75, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Parkview Randallia, Fort Wayne, IN. Dana was born on June 19, 1948, in Lake City, FL, to the late Kenneth and Wilma (Greene) Holmes.  She married Charles Williams on July 6, 1979, and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2015.  

Dana was a homemaker. She loved her family and was a very kind and loving person. She was a member of the Church of God, Jackson, KY.

Dana is survived by two sons, Thomas Grover, Andrews, IN, Ted (Brandi) Grover, Urbana, IN; one daughter, Tammy (Monte) Davis, Huntington, IN; step-sons; Everett (Helen) Williams, NY, Roger Williams, Randy Combs, Rob Gibson, all of KY; one step-daughter, Jeanine (Arnold) Holmes, KY; one brother, Gerald Holmes, Huntington, IN; 5 sisters, Margie (John) Burke, her twin, Lana (Bud) Bolding, both of Huntington, IN, Sharon (Larry) Rainwater, Andrews, IN, Shirley (Lloyd) Newsome, Huntington, IN, Linda Clark, Andrews, IN; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Grover, and one sister, Margaret Hall.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to the Family to help with expenses in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.  

 Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
