Cletus "Bud" L. Miller

Cletus L. “Bud” Miller, 94, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Huntington.

Mr. Miller was born on October 7, 1925, in Whitley County, IN, to Julius and Minnie (Smith) Miller. His parents preceded him in death. Bud married Nancy Burris on April 30, 1977. She preceded him in death on December 10, 2015. 

Bud was a 1943 graduate of Huntington High School.  He served in the United States Army Air Force from 1948-1949.  Bud was a hairdresser and owned Miller Coiffure for over 60 years. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington Hairdresser Association, Past President of the Indiana Hairdresser Association, Starlight Dance, American Legion Post #7, Knights of Columbus, and enjoyed being a member of the choir at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

Bud is survived by one daughter, Ann Marie (Troy) Smart, Huntington; one son, David (Stacy) Miller, New Albany, IN; one step-son, Robert (Paula) Geer, Wichita, KS; one step-daughter, Karen (Gary) Double, Bluffton, IN; 8 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Gwen Schaefer; and two brothers, Robert Miller and Garland “Jake” Miller.
