Christopher Patrick Eiting

Christopher Patrick Eiting, age 56, beloved Son and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.  He entered this world on August 13, 1968, in Coldwater, OH, born to Patrick and Patricia (Denney) Eiting.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Alivia Eiting, Huntington, IN; mother, Patricia Denney, Fort Wayne, IN; father, Patrick (Angela) Eiting, Hermitage, TN; his partner Debbie Johnson, Huntington, IN; sister Veronica Pedersen, Cheyenne, WY; brother, Theodore (Dori) Eiting, Fort Wayne, IN; and nephew, Jesse Pedersen.   

Chris was a 1986 graduate of Huntington North High School.  He was a set-up operator at Holman in Huntington for many years. He was an avid bicycle rider and enjoyed riding the bike paths with Debbie.  Chris also enjoyed spending quality time with his daughter, Alivia, he especially loved watching episodes of “Family Guy” with her. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping, Nascar, MotoGP, Formula 1, and loved listening to music. 

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St, Huntington, IN.  

Additional calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a  Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. all at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.

A private burial will be at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Chris’s honor to HARTA (Huntington Area Recreation Trails Association) in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St, Huntington, IN   46750.
