Cheryl Ann Molson

Cheryl Ann Molson, age 80, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Cheryl was born on August 30, 1945, in Torrington. CT, to the late John and Amelia (Richtarek) Molson. 

Cheryl was a 1964 graduate of Dyer Central Highschool, Dyer, IN, and furthered her education at Purdue Calumet where she received her bachelor’s degree in education.  She was a teacher for many years in Griffith, IN; and once she relocated to Huntington, she became a substitute teacher at Huntington Catholic.  Cheryl was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and volunteered as a lector.

Cheryl is survived by two sisters, Eve (Glen) Curtis, Crown Point, IN, Marie (Robert) Molson-Stouder, Huntington, IN; and two nieces and two nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., all at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, with Fr. Tony Steinacker presiding.

Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church,  Huntington County Special Olympics or the Huntington County Humane Shelter in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
