Cheryl A. (Marsh) Minton

Cheryl A. Minton, 68, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice, Fort Wayne, IN.

Cheryl was born on January 11, 1951, in Warsaw, IN, to Harry and Idris (Craig) Marsh.  Her parents preceded her in death.  She married James Minton on June 16, 2000.  He survives and resides in Huntington.

Cheryl attended Pierceton High School.  She retired from Bendix after working 15 years as a service tech in packaging.   She had also worked as a welder at Nutritional Research making animal cages.   She enjoyed gardening, fishing, baking and collecting frogs.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Jim and one daughter, Rindi (Phillip) Kessie, South Whitley, IN; one step-son, Nate (Heather) Minton; two brothers, Allen (Sarah) Marsh, Warsaw, IN, Chad Marsh, South Whitley, IN; 8 grandchildren, Maryssa Kessie, Danika Kessie, Hali Kessie, Beau Marsh, Whitney Marsh, Skyler Minton, Monica Minton and Faith Minton.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelly Geist; and one step-daughter, Andrea Minton.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.

Additional calling hours will be on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

A Funeral Service will follow the calling on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Swenson officiating.  

Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
