Carl H. Levin, age 79, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 5:38 a.m., at his residence in Huntington surrounded by his family.
Carl was born on April 19, 1945, in Washington, D.C., to the late David and Susan (Parker) Levin. He married Nannette Close on November 15, 1972, and she survives in Huntington.
Carl was a graduate of Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Springs, Maryland and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War for 4 years. Carl earned his bachelor’s degree from IPFW in Psychology and then furthered his education with a master’s degree from St. Francis College. Carl was a Vocational Rehab Counselor for the State of Indiana for 37 years and retired in 2011. Carl was an avid TV watcher and animal lover, especially to Cookie, Maizee, Minnie and Maddie.
Along with his wife, Carl is survived by his son, Michael (Dawn) Levin, Jacksonville, FL; nephew, Daniel (Ruth) Levin, Deerfield, IL; and two grandchildren, Christian Levin and Alexys Levin.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Stuart Levin.
To honor the wishes of Carl there will be no calling or service hours.
