Barbara K. (Teusch) Kauffman

Barbara K. Kauffman, 81, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Huntington, IN.

Barbara was born on June 16, 1940, in Huntington, IN, to Arthur Teusch and Ida (Thompson) Teusch Gorosz. Her parents and step-father, Joe Gorosz preceded her in death.  

Barbara was a graduate of Huntington High School.  She worked at Victory Noll in Huntington for many years as a receptionist.   She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN.

Barbara is survived by three sons, Todd Foor, Columbia City, Mike (Cheryl) Foor, Huntington, IN, John (Mary) Foor, Fort Wayne, IN; three daughters, Kimberlee (David) Working, LaFontaine, IN, Nikki (Ray) Pearson, Carrie (Josh) Salter, both of Huntington, IN; two sisters, Sondra Powell, Nancy (Harold) Sanders, both of Huntington, IN; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and stepfather, she was preceded in death by one brother, Art Teusch.

A Calling will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.to 11:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750, with Fr. Tony Steinacker presiding.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
