Averitt Joseph Goldsmith

Averitt Joseph Goldsmith, of Huntington, Indiana, was born on June 22, 2026, in Huntington to his loving parents, Jordan Williams and Cody Goldsmith.

Though his time on earth was brief, Averitt touched the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. He was a little fighter who showed remarkable strength throughout his precious days. Surrounded by the love of his family, Averitt passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

His life, though far too short, will forever be cherished.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Bexley Rose-Marie Goldsmith; maternal grandparents, Lisa Williams and Ronnie Chronister, both of Florida; paternal grandparents, Dana (Stephen) Rankin, Huntington, IN, and Charlie Goldsmith, Crossville, TN; and many aunts and uncles.

There will be no services. A private burial will be held at a later date.
