Arthur "Art" E. Covey

Arthur E. “Art” Covey, 60, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at his residence.

Art was born on August 5, 1959, in Huntington, IN, to Burl “Jim” and Katherine (Keefer) Covey. His parents preceded him in death. 

Art was a 1977 graduate of Huntington North High School.  He was a coordinator at Peyton’s for many years.

Art is survived by one daughter, Rhonda A. Covey, Clarksville, TN; one brother, Ronald Covey, GA; two sisters, Katherine Triplett, Fort Wayne, IN, Donna Smith, Arcola, IN; and two grandchildren, Zander Ray Covey- Valenzuela and Tavion Alexander Covey.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Covey, Richard Covey; and one sister, Brenda Ryner.

Public calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N .Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.

A Graveside will be held on Wednesday, June 24, at 12:30 p.m. at Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN.
