Alexander Miller Obituary

Alexander K. Miller, age 29, formerly of Coldwater, MI, lived the last 25 years in Huntington.  He passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his residence, after a long battle of illness. Alex was born on August 3, 1994, in Coldwater, MI, to Richard Miller and Brenda (Wing) Chupp. His parents survive and live in Huntington.

Alex was a 2010 graduate of Kensington Academy School of Huntington. He had worked at Steel Dynamics in Fort Wayne. Alex enjoyed storm chasing, fast cars, music, and most of all spending time with his son Maddex and teaching him about Jesus, swimming, and riding dirt bikes.

Along with his parents he is survived by two children, Maddex Miller, and Taelyn Miller, both of Huntington. He is also survived by three sisters, Amanda (Chuck) Bair, Huntington, Kimberly Jones, IN, Malinda Jones, MI; three close friends, Jerry Lacroix, Huntington, Drew Frederick, Fort Wayne, and Lucas West of Huntington.

The family would like to thank the wonderful Parkview Hospice team (Laura and Nicki). The family is forever grateful for the loving care, kindness, and concern for and to their son and the attention and anticipation of Alex’s needs and how they greatly assisted him through a peaceful transition, and this gave comfort to all of them.

There will be no services at this time. The family will hold a Celebration of Life and burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations in Alex’s memory to Parkview Health and Hospice Care in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
