Wanda J. Walling

Wanda J. Walling, 71, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN.

Wanda was born May 1, 1947 in Albany, KY, to Floyd and Nellie Beatrice (Johnson) Amonett. Her parents preceded her in death.

Wanda retired from First Source Bank as a Supervisor. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She belonged to the Piece Makers Quilt Club and the Crochet Club at her church. She helped educate people to obtain their GED.

Wanda is survived by her two daughters Kristina Walling and her fiancé Christopher Washington, Huntington, IN and Leah Walling, Huntington, IN; two brothers, Mike (Deborah) Amonett, Muncie, IN and Danny (Lotta) Amonett, Muncie, IN. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Marcus Walling, Huntington, IN and Lacey Smith, Huntington, IN.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at First Freewill Baptist Church, 1803 Salamonie Avenue, Huntington, IN.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 following the calling hours at 11:00 AM at the First Freewill Baptist Church, 1803 Salamonie Avenue, Huntington, IN 46750, with Bronk Conley officiating.

Burial will follow service at 2:30 p.m. at the Beech Grove Cemetery 1400 W Kilgore Ave Muncie, IN 47305.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First Freewill Baptist Church- Building Fund in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
