John “Wolfie” P. Dalton Jr., 64, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at his home, after battling a long illness.
John was born on November 6, 1953, in Fort Wayne, IN, to John P. and Patricia (Browne) Dalton Willcox. His parents preceded him in death.
John was a 1972 graduate of Huntington North High School. In grade school, he attended St. Mary Catholic School. He also attended St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, IN. John managed Home Town Video South store for many years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Huntington, IN.
John is survived by three brothers, Timothy J. (Tami) Dalton, Huntington, IN, Nicholas C. Dalton, South Bend, IN, and Matthew J. Dalton, Huntington, IN; one sister, Carrie A. Dalton, Huntington, IN; five nieces and nephews; and three great nieces.
Along with his parents, his sister Amy Dalton preceded him in death.
A combined visitation for John and his sister, Amy Dalton will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
A private graveside will be at a later date.
